Terms of Service

These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you and DrillRecord. By creating an account, uploading content, or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. About these Terms

Operator: DrillRecord (Antwerp, Belgium).

Contact: support@drillrecord.com

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the platform.

2. Accounts & eligibility

  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for your account and anything done through it.
  • You must be old enough to form a contract in your country (or have permission from a legal guardian).

3. User content (uploads)

“User Content” means anything you submit or upload (audio, artwork, images, text, metadata, comments, links, etc.).

  • You keep ownership of your User Content.
  • You are responsible for your User Content and for having all required rights, permissions, and licenses (including for beats, samples, artwork, and vocals).
  • You must not upload content that infringes copyright, violates law, or violates these Terms.

5. Moderation, enforcement & appeals

We may moderate content and enforce these Terms using a mix of user reports, automated tools, and human review. We may remove content, restrict visibility, suspend accounts, or terminate access when content is illegal or violates these Terms.

Appeals / complaints

If we restrict or remove your content or your account, you can submit a complaint/appeal by emailing support@drillrecord.com with the subject “Appeal”. Include the URL and why you think our decision was wrong. We aim to review appeals within a reasonable time.

We may suspend or limit accounts that repeatedly upload illegal content or repeatedly submit abusive or manifestly unfounded notices/complaints.

6. Prohibited content

  • Copyright-infringing uploads (music, artwork, lyrics).
  • Leaks, rips, or re-uploads of commercial tracks.
  • Hate speech, harassment, threats, or incitement to violence.
  • Sexual exploitation content, especially involving minors.
  • Instructions for wrongdoing or illegal activities.
  • Impersonation, fraud, or deceptive behaviour.
  • Malware, phishing, or attempts to break the platform.

7. License you grant us

To operate the platform, you grant DrillRecord a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, and make your User Content available on the platform (and to create technical copies needed for streaming, caching, formatting, and backups).

This license lasts as long as your User Content remains on the platform, and ends when you delete it (except for limited backups/logs that may persist for a short time).

9. Disclaimers

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content will always be available.

We do not endorse User Content and are not responsible for User Content uploaded by users.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DrillRecord will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or service interruption.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DrillRecord from claims arising out of your User Content, your use of the platform, or your violation of these Terms (including copyright claims).

12. Termination

You can stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if we must do so to comply with law, or to protect users and the platform.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (for example via email or an in-app notice). Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country apply.
